Short biography “Cosmic Filter (Leger)” Starmusique Disco House Label:
More than 40 Years inspired by music : With the founding of his own rock-pop band in the late 1980s, bombastic pop sounds were created that soon won over audiences at pop festivals and led to the release of his first debut CD, “Epilog.” The CD was played by many local radio stations and produced at the “Artist” recording studio. This was followed by many live concerts on drums and background vocals. The next step was the production of radio commercials with the pop-rock band and a long-playing CD with the producers in Cologne. This was followed by countless live performances with cover bands and further CD productions. Then came the first live percussion performances with DJs in clubs. And the logical consequence was the digital production of songs in the 2000s.
This marked the start of a new mindset, strongly influenced by Daft Punk and Stardust, behind which Thomas Bangalter created a unique new sound. The song “Music Sounds Better with You,” which I consider one of the greatest and most distinctive songs of French house, set a milestone. The sample from Chaka Khan’s song “Fate” leads directly to Motown Records and is a wonderful connection between the two musical worlds.
Over the years, new acts and songs have been produced that are heavily influenced by the disco house music genre. With outstanding singers, dance tracks have been created that encourage people to dance. French house in particular had an enormous impact and influenced the following tracks:
Projects such as The Right Feeling, Do it again, Games people play, and Out of my mind are just a few that we want to mention and also release. Recorded live at our good friend Sven G.’s Artist Studios and then finaly produced at starmusique.
The result is a genre that inevitably spreads good vibes and brings people together on dance floors around the world. That is precisely the motivation for new songs in NU Disco.
